Covered Molded Grating
Covered grating is often used in loading and storage areas. Other applications include food processing facilities where coved grating walkways prohibit contamination to conveyor or work surfaces below; facilities where grating provides a waling surface and controls subsurface odors; walkways over tank tops and vats and solid flooring where narrow heels might represent a tripping hazard with open mesh grating.
Covered grating panels can be cut with a circular saw using a masonry blade or jigsaw with a carbide blade.
Covered
grating offers a strong, level surface for foot or cart traffic and provides approximately
30% higher stiffness values than that of open mesh grating. Its standard
grit-top cover assures secure footing.
Chemdeck is a long-lasting, molded one-piece fiberglass floor product that combines anti-slip Chemplate floor plate and grating manufactured with corrosion-resistant Chemgrate resin.
Chemdeck comes in 4" X 12" panels in a combination of four thick ness of floor plate and size depths o grating. Chemdeck is available in all three resin systems-CP-84, VE-25, and FS-25 offering a variety of colors that complements most walking surfaces.
