CenterLine's® cap electrodes are manufactured by its associate company U.S. Electrodes Inc. This specialized manufacturer uses advanced cold-forming techniques to produce high quality, affordably priced, male and female caps. An extensive range of styles and materials are available.
Standard U.S. Electrodes caps are made from Class 2, Class 3, Chrome-Zirconium-Copper and GlidCop (dispersion strengthened copper). Standard diameters are 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4". Nose styles are RWMA standard: A, B, C, D, E, and F. Non-standard styles and specifications are quoted upon request.

REFRACTORY FACE TIPSRefractory

Copper-tungsten and copper-molybdenum faced tips withstand greater heat and pressure at the expense of some conductivity.
Besides being used for spot weld high resistance base metals, they are useful in achieving "heat balance" when welding dissimilar metals. Bodies are of the Class 1 alloy.
